Everything, and especially Jesus the concierge who was so attentive and available to answer any questions we had about Puerto Vallarta. The streets around the hotel are very quiet for city centre. Great sleeps in comfy clean large room.

The location, plus charm of the rooftop pool and the sheer size of the rooms + kitchenette takes it over the top to excellent. I was not that impressed at first but it's a great hotel for solo's as you tend to meet people easily here - tonnes of Canadians stay here so it was great chatting with people. You have instant walking access to all the hopping parts of town; Centro, the Malecon or Romantica. The rooftop is a little oasis. I miss that rooftop so much. The pools are cold though! I extended my stay here because I enjoyed it so much. Please be aware you are not getting luxury. This is resoundingly a barebones hotel but it has a lot going for it. I was solo and felt safe there as they lock the doors at midnight and there is always someone at the front desk. The Guadalupe church is quite close so you hear the bells all the time. There are a lot of birds in the area and some of them drink from the swimming pool. I loved the doves and birds.

We really loved the suite and the location. The staff were great. Great value except for the 1 ft deep "swimming" pool.

This hotel is in a great location! It's a short walk to both the boardwalk and the romantic zone. The A/C works really well, which was important because it was about 90 degrees with high humidity. The pools on the roof are a nice touch too.

Well, I didnt use the pool or even see it so , room fridge was not plugged in not sure why??? No tv in the bedroom which sucked. And to watch tv in the living room on the couch was a like brick it was so hard. It was a form of a couch lying on a slab of cement that kind of couch. No pillows so I took from the bedroom. But could only stay there for 30 minutes it was so uncomfortable. No a/c just a fan which was totally stupid it really didnt work well.
